Details of Rutgers Stadium and the Ticket Luck value
As does the name suggest, Rutgers Stadium is the venue for the football program at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. Located on the university's Busch Campus, Rutgers Stadium was opened on 3 September 1994 during a game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Kent State University Golden Flashes. Rutgers Stadium seats 41,500 spectators, though on a few occasions has accommodated several thousand more.
The first Rutgers Stadium served the university's football program until 1992, hosting 225 football games over which Rutgers had a record of 168 wins, 53 losses, and four ties.
Though small in this regard compared to other big name Division I-A college football stadiums, Rutgers Stadium and its home crowd is known to be disproportionately and at times deafeningly loud, making it uniquely intimidating to its visiting opponents. During this time, Rutgers Stadium hosted the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship on five occasions.
