Phase one of the auditorium restoration overhauled the Providence Performing Arts Centre from the ground up. It helped restore the proscenium framing around podiums and elevated sections of walls and ceiling. The ornate beauty was enhanced as the ceiling and walls were refurbished in Phase two. With the addition of a vertical full color LED marquee, re carpeted floors, re-holstered accessories and an automated HVAC system; the center was made more comfortable for theatre goers. Another two rounds of revamping in 2003and 2005 replaced fixtures and seating. Interestingly all these efforts have gradually and successfully restored to become bravura.
