Techno Electronic is basically a term derived from two different music genres - Techno and Electronic(a). Both the terms differ slightly in nature from each other.
Techno is an electronic dance music (EDM) genre, which mixes computer generated rhythms, similar to disco rhythms, with digital illustrations. This music genre is played on electronic instruments and is made by using a large range of studio technology. Techno produces a futuristic, and a machine-made sound. It is used as, or is an extensive/blanket term for a group of music genres that use electronic elements and are danceable simultaneously.
Electronic/Electronica, on the other hand, also includes electronic elements to produce or operate sound during its composition and performance. The sound produced is either created by entirely electrical means, for example, by the use of an electronic sound synthesizer, which is a complex system of generators that can make and control sound, or by nonelectric means that can later be altered and mixed by electronic devices such as a tape recorder, as the use of electronic devices while composing Electronic music is necessary. Electronic music is not made specifically for dancing, unlike the EDM; instead, it is designed for a wide range of uses, such as foreground listening, background music for other activities, and only for some forms of dancing.
The history of both, Techno and Electronic, date back to the latter half of the 1900s. One of the earliest sounds of Techno music was heard during the 1970s, when the German band Kraftwerk was formed. The tradition of producing some of the best techno records in Germany continued even in the 1990s. The initial recorded use of the word 'techno' in reference to a genre of music, occurred in 1988. The first sound for techno arose from the melding of Eurocentric synthesizer-based music with various African American styles such as Chicago house, funk, electro, and electric jazz. This unique blend of influences side with techno with the aesthetic referred to as afro-futurism. Today, numerous styles of techno exist, but Detroit techno is considered as the base upon which several subgenres have been built.
The first popular and significant Electronic music was created in Paris, where a group of French radio engineers recorded sounds from everyday life on a magnetic tape and mended them together in a variety of ways, sometimes purposely twisting the original sounds. Similar experiments, soon, started being held in Germany as well, and the fame of this new musical style spread rapidly. The electronic sounds began to form the basis of a wide range of popular music in the late 1970s, and became the key to the mainstream pop and rock sounds of the 1980s, in Europe and America as well. The term 'electronica' was officially adopted in the 1990s to describe more underground music, consisting of an electronic aesthetic. In the present times, the elements of modern Electronic music have been taken up by various admired artists in mainstream music.
However, having distinct features from each other, the terms 'Techno' and 'Electronic' are still confused. The trend of confusing this term has become so popular that people and bands/artists have accepted them as a single term - Techno Electronic. Many bands of the mainstream even focus this genre, such as Aynsley Lister Band, Bad Veins, Cascada, Crystal Method, Goldfrapp, Hard 13, I Was A King, Karsh Kale, Kora, Legends of House Music, Roger Sanchez, and many more.
This new type of music genre has become extremely popular with its fans, which are growing in number with the passage of every single day. There are different Techno Electronic bands whose live concerts are highly praised and looked forward for. Tickets to such concerts are available at Ticket Luck.
