Global Dance Festival Tickets

The Global Dance Festival is a music and dance event that takes place each year in Colorado. The venue every year takes place in the Rocky Mountains United States. The festival aims at featuring existing and upcoming bands and solo artists of the electronic and dance music genre. Dubstep, rave music, techno beats and dance music is heavily encouraged. It is an open for all ages event that usually lasts up to three days.
 
Each year the Global Dance Festival tickets treat the fans with renowned artists to headline their event. There is a different lineup for each of the three days. The number of acts performing per day may vary from 20 to 24. This includes established artists, newcomers and underground performers.
 
The Global Dance Festival in 2011 featured reputable performers including LMFAO, Skrillex and Avicci. This year too some super talented performers will be taking the live stage.
 
Avicci is a young DJ and remixer from Stockholm, Sweden. At just 22, he has become a known figure in the electronic and house music scene. He first gained attention with his first song, "Seek Bromance" which was a chart topper in many countries, and especially in Europe. His 2011 single, "Levels" reach the top ten in 15 different countries. According to DJ Magazine, he ranks number six in the "Top 100 DJs" list.
 
Similarly, LMFAO also produces dance music: electro pop, dance, house and hip hop, or their self coined named for the genre, "Party Rock". LMFAO is a duo consisting of Redfoo and his nephew Skyblu. They received their big international breakthrough in 2010 with the hit single, "Party Rock Anthem". The song was amongst the most played songs on the radio for 2011-also the most played song in most parties. Their other big hit came with "Sexy and I Know it". This song received similar success. Their first album received a Grammy Award nomination.
 
Another performer to have been prominently featured at the Global Dance Festival in 2011 was Skrillex. He is a Grammy winning "electronic music producer" known best for his EP "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites". Following his appearance at the Global Dance Festival he would be nominated for five Grammy Awards out of which he would end up winning three. His remixes and dubstep arrangements were particularly enjoyed at the festival.
 
With Global Dance Festival tickets you can be a part of its 10^th anniversary. So far, six artists have been confirmed to play at the event. These are Knife Party, Above & Beyond, Zeds Dead, Adventure Club, Nadia Ali and Krewella.
 
Knife Party is a relatively new band that has received mainstream attention very quickly. Initially starting out as a side project to their main band, Pendulum, they have become popular in their own right when it comes to electronic music parties and dance clubs. Their new, fresher sound with hypnotizing electric bass lines has caught the attention of electronic music lovers all over the world. This will be the first time that the band performs at the Global Dance Festival.
 
A more established band set to perform at the event is the English group Above & Beyond. They are known for creating trance and progressive music. ATB, Gareth Emery, Kyau & Albert, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten often include their songs in their mixing lineups. Interestingly, the band themselves have worked as DJs. They first started out in Tokyo back in 2002. Although they did not give this career path much importance at first, they are now considered as the top headlining acts at most trance and electronic dance festivals and in many clubs. They will fit right into the Global Dance Festival category.
 
The event last year consisted of three stages. Each stage represented a different style of dance music, standing along from the other two, yet all working together in harmony. Fans have described the Global Dance Festival setting to be more intimate and party like than most other dance or music festivals that end up replicating concerts. Even though the venue is huge, fans can interact with the artists and there is no gap between the stage and the audience. Apart from serving as a buffet of dance music for the audience, the venue itself is beautiful, combining a concert venue and a state park together. The performances literally take place between two red rocks that serve as an amazing backdrop. People from a wide range of demographics attend the festival, making it quite literally a party for everyone.
