EDM saw a huge rise in popularity during the early 2010s and during that decade a lot of promising acts debuted in the industry including Subtronics. He introduced a fresh sound to the world and almost instantly, his style of music appealed to the masses as a result of which this talented DJ/producer gained hoards of fans from across the world. On January 7, 2020, Subtronics issued the last mix of his famed 'Now That's What I Call Riddim Series.' He is now scheduled to tour across the States. Arriving on the Scene
Influenced by the likes of Downlink, Tomba, Skism and Rusko, Subtronics arrived on the scene in 2013 and quickly started to gain popularity by working with other established stars like JPhelpz and Bommer. He then signed a record deal with Prime Audio which issued his first extended play, 'Panic Attack EP' on May 4, 2015.
A year later, Subtronics came out with double extended plays, 'Impact' and 'Cyclops EP' which hit the markets on January 18th and December 6th respectively. During the same year, he released many collaborative singles including Saw Blade with Ecraze, Trendz with Jack Daniels and GloGang Twins, Pete's Song with Ubur and Shredder with Emilian Wonk. In 2017, he produced a collaborative single with Midnight Tyrannosaurus called Revenge of the Goldfish and also released an extended play '20k EP.'
Making Waves
2018 was a big year for Subtronics as he released not one or two but four extended plays, 'Depth Perception,' 'Thermal Expansion EP,' 'Wook Laser EP' and 'Pashmina Death Sauce EP.' All of these EPs became hits and contributed into making him the star he is today. The third extended play from the list was approved by the critics and was praised by EDM Sauce in these words, "Everything that is right in riddim at the current moment." On July 6th the famous Canadian electronic music duo Zeds Dead and Jauz dropped the remix record of their song Lights Go Down which also featured Subtronic's remix of the track.
Achieving More Fame
Subtronics went on to achieve more fame in 2019. He came out with a couple of extended plays, 'Cyclops Army' and 'Wooked on Tronics' arrived in stores on June 7th and October 2nd respectively. He also put out a number of bangers with his friends including Bounce with Rusko, Snailclops with Snails and Bumpy Teeth with Zeds Dead. In addition, he released a remix of the popular Excision song, Vault and was included in Billboard's list of the 'Next Big Sound.'
Watch Him Perform Live
Subtronics is on a national tour. He began the trek by performing at The Big Easy Concert House in Boise on January 15, 2020. From there, he will go on to play shows in cities like Reno, Las Angeles, Fort Collins, Des Moines, Lincoln and Minneapolis. Subtronics will be ending the road trip on May 16, 2020.
