With a track record of hosting some of the biggest and best concerts, tradeshows and sporting events between Minneapolis and Seattle, Fargodome is an indoor stadium located in Fargo, North Dakota.

Fargodome is also noted for being a home field for the NDSU Bison football team. The team plays on the artificial turf of the Fargodome since 1993.

The Fargodome mission is to successfully operate a facility that offers a variety of events, while enhancing the quality of life and prosperity of the region. The Fargodome was the brainchild of Fargo Parks Superintendent, Bob Johnson.

Built at an original cost of $48 million, Fargodome has seating for 18,700 fans and several suites on both sidelines. Bob Johnson introduced a formal proposal for the facility in 1987.

In 1992, the city-owned grand Fargodome opened its doors just five years after the approval of the project. With a capacity of over 18,000 seats, this multi-purpose facility quickly managed to draw a large number of audiences in the first year of its opening.

Fargodome features scoreboards hanging behind both end zones, specialty statistics displaying on four sideline scoreboards, and giant video screens in each of the four corners. All four video screens provide live action and instant replays.

Fargodome, Fargo opened in 1992 and accommodates over 19,000 people for football games and over 25,000 for full arena music concerts. In 1998-1999, an addition built and opened the following year, providing users with an indoor box office and meeting/multipurpose facility.

Fargodome"s all four stats boards (two centered on each sideline) were installed by Daktronics in 2002. This multi-purpose facility also plays host to concerts, sporting events, family shows, trade shows and more, hence offering something for everyone.

It has proven to be an excellent facility for an array of large performances such as those by Shania Twain, Bon Jovi, Cher, Garth Brooks, AC/DC, Metallica, Kenny Rogers, and the list goes on.
