Music Hall is located at 301 West 13th Street, Kansas City, Missouri and is considered as one of the best indoor venues of the locality.

It is a sub venue of Municipal Auditorium located in the downtown Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Facilities which is just 20 minutes from Kansas City International Airport.

This Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Facilities dominate the city skyline with its brilliant art deco pylons. It offers 388,800 square feet of column-free exhibit space on one floor, another 55,000 square feet of additional space on two levels, 45 meeting rooms, a 46,000 square foot ballroom, a 2,400-seat fine arts theater, and an arena that can seat over 10,700 people, all connected to major downtown hotels and underground parking by glass-enclosed skywalks and below-ground walkways.

The Music Hall was created in the year 1936 as a fine arts theatre. It has a spectacular foyer depicting the style and splendor of the era of its birth. It shows its grandeur with Italian marble floors and walls.

There are floor-to-ceiling murals and elaborate art deco chandeliers that inspired the Convention Center's Sky Stations which provide an elegant backdrop for any event occurring in this venue.

The seating capacity of the Music Hall at Kansas City is for 2,400 occupants. With its grand and magnificent style it also provides the world class production facilities, it has brilliant orchestra pit, chorus dressing rooms, star dressing rooms, green room, and high-quality lighting and sound systems.

The Music Hall also features a beautiful antique pipe organ, built in 1927 to accompany silent movies, features an ivory and gold console with more than 2,000 pipes and a variety of special effects, creating an incredible sound for audiences.

There is a facility of hearing impaired system with 4 emitter panels and 24 patron receivers. There are 119 seats on Orchestra Floor with additional 10 wheelchairs capacity. The boxes and loge contains 282 seats while the balcony offers the seating capacity of 918 seats.

The stage has a 46 feet proscenium opening with the height of 23 feet and 7 inches. The curtain line is 32 feet and 8 inch to the upstage wall. The orchestra pit depth from the stage is 8 feet and 2 inches while the stage width is 85 feet and 6 inches. There is proscenium arch to the stage on the left and right wall.

The stage height from orchestra floor is 3 feet and 5 inches. There are 4 Star Rooms with complete bathroom and dressing table with mirrors, 12 more rooms with dressing tables, mirrors and sinks, 1 small chorus room and 2 large chorus rooms capable of 80 people per room.

The Music Hall has its own entrance on the south side of 13th Street, with lighted marquee, box office, coat-check room, restrooms and concessions.

Visitors may also enter the Music Hall through the Municipal Auditorium"s Grand Foyer, or from the Auditorium Plaza Garage by way of a beautiful underground walkway. It is a great venue for the Broadway shows.
