Bill Graham Civic Auditorium is a cultural heritage of San Francisco, currently owned by "Another Planet Entertainment". The venue was established in 1915 in the heart of the Civic Center. The auditorium has been the venue for many different events including entertainment as well as Democratic National Conventions. The seating capacity of the arena can easily be stretched up to 7,500.

 
Bill Graham Civic Auditorium was taken up by Another Planet Entertainment in 2010. Another Planet Entertainment is owned by Gregg W. Perloff, the president of "Bill Graham Presents" and was created on 18^th of July 2003. On 16^th of August the same year, the company arranged its very first concert featuring The E Street Band and Bruce Springsteen at "Pacific Bell Park".

 
Another Planet Entertainment has been honored with various awards and nominations since its inauguration. They include awards such as; "Promoter of the Year", "Best New Major Concert", "Most Creative Stage Production", "Best Venue" and "Best Music Fest",  given by Fox Theatre Awards as well as Pollstar Awards. Till the date, Another Planet Entertainment has arranged more than 3000 events and has most famous names in the industry working. The names include, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Kanye West, Muse, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sir Elton John.

 
Bill Graham Civic Auditorium has been named after Bill Graham, a concert promoter and impresario from Wolodia Grajonca, Berlin. During 1960's, Graham gave up his business and took over "San Francisco Mime Troupe", a theatre. He promoted many concerts under the theatre and soon had gathered enough money to afford its legal fees. The initial concerts were arranged in collaboration with Chet Helms of "Family Dog Organization". Graham promoted most of the counterculture shows of the time, which included "Country Joe and the Fish", "Jefferson Airplane", "The Committee", "The Fugs", "Big Brothers and the Holding Company" and "The Grateful Dead". Some of the major artists to sign with Graham included Cold Blood, Rod Stewart and Elvin Bishop.

 
The upcoming events at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium include the concert by Further, the band including Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Further also includes Jeff Chimenti, John Kadlecik, Joe Russo, Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson. The former members of Grateful Dead got together in 2009 to create this band. Their folk rock music is generally based on the former music of Grateful Dead. The band also includes the members from former bands The Fall Risk and SoVoSo.

 
Bill Graham Civic Auditorium has featured many of the legendary artists during its existence, including Madonna, Kings of Leon, Radiohead and speech by Dalai Lama.
