Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is located in Calgary, Alberta. The site of the auditorium is very next to the Southern Institute of Technology and the Alberta College of Art and Design.

The exact address of the auditorium is 1415 14th Avenue NW, Calgary, AB, Canada. The site is located over four million cubic feet that makes 113,000 cubic meters.

The auditorium is the state of the art venue for all the performing arts and various community gatherings. The auditorium has served its purpose to influence and touch the lives of people coming here for the plays, performances, events, celebrations, educational and informative performances.

Since its opening, to the date, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium has held award shows, stand-up comedy sessions, dance festivals, theatre plays and bands.

People from far off places come to enjoy the festive performances of the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and take away with them memorable scenes and performances. The auditorium is also the home to Alberta Ballet and Calgary Opera, the Kiwanis Music Festival and the Remembrance Day celebrations of the annual Canadian Legion and is owned and managed by the Government of Alberta.

The auditorium was built in the celebration of Alberta"s 50th anniversary in 1955. The auditorium has parking lots; both are easily accessible and are at the walking distance. To have seats at a good place, people must come a considerable time before the show starts.

Also the parking place for disabled and handicapped is also available. People coming from relatively distant places need not worry about conveyance because the Dalhousie C-train and the Somerset C-train drops very near to the auditorium.

The auditorium has three levels I-e; main floor, first balcony and second balcony. Each level is further divided into 5 more sections. On the main floor the five subsections are the main terrace left, left centre, centre, right centre and the main terrace right.

The first balcony is divided into 1st balcony terrace left, left centre, centre, right centre and main centre right. The second balcony is divided into left, left centre, centre, right and right centre. For the convenience, suites are also available for the private reservations before the show.

The main theatre can capacitate up to 2538 on all three levels and each is famous for its marvelous acoustics. Major renovations were carried out in 2005 to make the auditorium more beautiful and superb for the festivities of Alberta Centennial.

Many events are scheduled to be held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Diana Krall is scheduled to perform twice in the month of April at the auditorium. In May, Queen-its kinda Magic, City and Color and Jeff Foxworthy will perform in the auditorium.

Two performances of Jerry Seinfeld and Blind Boys of Alabama will perform in June. In July, there would be Xavier Rudd. No performances are scheduled in the month of August but three performances from Tragically Hip is scheduled to be held in the month of September this year.
