In July of year 1999 a 933 feet wide, 695 feet long and 171 feet high Cleveland Browns Stadium was built by the architect firm HOK Sports Facilities Groups under the guidance of construction manager Huber, Hunt & Nichols in strong vicinity of major downtown hotels; Renaissance Cleveland, Ritz Carlton and Marriot Key Center, at North Coast Harbor in Cleveland, Ohio.

It is at a neck"s distance from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. The stadium sits on 31 acres of land on the shores of Lake Erie and holds the seating capacity of over 73,200 which exclusively has 8,754 Club Seats, at the east side 10,644 Dawg Pound Seats (bleacher seating with football passionate occupants) and 145 Luxury Suites.

There is special ADA Seating area capable of providing over 1,436 wheelchair-accessible seats. The cost of building the stadium was in excess of $290 million with contributions from the Regional Transit Authority, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Tomorrow.

The Stadium has four main gates namely Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Gate located at Southwest corner, National City Gate located at Southeast corner, Northeast gate located at Northeast corner, Northwest gate located at Northwest corner.

The playing field with dimensions of 69 yards by 114 yards has an underground heating system consisting of nine boilers and 40 miles of underground piping helping the growth of turf and preventing it from freezing.

There are two Club Lounges in stadium"s vicinity with the areas of 28,000 square feet located at North and 30,000 square feet located at the South of the Stadium. There is a team logo shop, "Brownstown" - a shopping and entertainment complex, for all the fans and tourists.

Cleveland Browns Stadium displays a huge and most capable video screens in any NFL Stadium. In addition to it there are 27 feet high and 94 feet wide Pro-Star VideoPlus display boards behind each end zone of stadium.

They are capable of displaying live video and instant replays, as well as game information, player and team statistics, advertising, graphics and animation in 16.7 million colors.

Similarly there are two 90 feet long and 25 feet Pro-Star exterior video boards mounted outside the Stadium acclaimed to be the largest animated display boards in the city. These exterior boards exhibit time and temperature, major league scores and information 24 hours a day.

With the capacity to hold huge crowds Cleveland Browns Stadium is also useful for hosting preodic events such as concerts and other sporting events.

Cleveland Browns dynamic lighting system supports it with 592 light fixtures, 528 1,500 watt conventional metal halide fixtures with an additional 64 1,500 watt double-ended hot-restart fixtures. In 2007 a huge concert of Kenny Chesney was held in this stadium.
