Gothic Theatre, located in Englewood, Colorado, is today Denver"s most rocking music venues! It eventually started as film theater, but with the passage of time, it got turned into a music venue.

The history of the divine Gothic Theatre can be traced back in the flourishing Twenties when the magnificent movie palaces were the center of entertainment in every society.
The theater comprised of an awe-inspiring art deco style that attracted thousands of Denver residents who came to view classic movies of the period and its importance to that area can only be understood by people who were there at the time.
A lot of generations have created a million memories in the walls of the theatre while watching movies. They laughed, cried, dreamt, and got entertained in this theater. The Gothic was the first theater in the city that showcased talking movies in the area of Denver.
The Gothic"s ownership changed in the 1940s which brought a change in the architecture too. The look of the magnificent building was now changed. To add a modern taste to this historic building, the front Fa?ade was radically altered.
However, the interior art deco finishes were untouched as the rounded walls and wonderful recessed coves remain the same to this date. The atmosphere of the theater furthers helps the building in retaining its connection with the historical past.
The theater started as showing first run movies to struggling to survive. Different owners tried different things with little success. The year 1998 brought with it a rebirth of the Gothic Theatre. Two friends who love music and love to dream purchased the building out of bankruptcy, saving it from the wrecking ball.
Retaining the art deco accents, the new owners remodeled and rebuilt the theatre from the foundation to the roof. The two brought only those talented designers and artists to the theater that shared their passion and understood their vision. Thus, the two transformed the theatre into one of the premier music venues in the world.
This truly intimate theater is surely one of a kind! Inch by inch, the theater has been taken special care of. Not even a minute detail has been overlooked. The brand-new state of the art sound and light system was icing on the proverbial cake.
The Gothic regained its power and fame when the legends of New Orleans, The Rebirth Brass Band, took the stage of this amazing venue in the year 1999.
It got back in the business of making memories! Since then, the Gothic has been rocking in the list of fantastic music venues! It plays host to only the top caliber artists and generates a great number of audiences flying over from different places.
