There is no other excellent place for concerts, wrestling and baseball games, trade shows and exhibitions than the very own Westchester County Centre.

The Westchester County Centre is located on 198 Central Avenue, White Plains, New York. The Westchester was opened to public in 1930 and gained fame in a very short time.

The building of the arena cost approximately 785,000 million dollars and the design of the venue was given by Walker and Gillette, which is an award winning architectural firm.

The first renovation to the arena was made in 1988 worth sixteen million dollars, making it more beautiful and up to the mark. The arena is a multi-use entertaining centre, hosting commercial and other entertainment events. Now the arena can seat up to 5,000 people in one event.

The venue can be reached by many routes like from, New York City, from Long Island, from Tappan Zee Bridge, from Connecticut, from Upstate New York and from New Jersey. Westchester County Bee Line Bus System and the Metro North Commuter Railroad are the transport facilities by which the Centre can be easily reached.

The Westchester County Centre also offers the membership to be the Westchester County Park System. The membership keeps the members up to date about the events being held there and also offers many facilities and coupons etc. Recording devices are not permitted in the venue but still or flash photography is allowed.

The security service and arrangement at the arena are satisfactory as every visitor is checked at the entry to assure safety. The arena also provides food and beverage services excluding the need of the visitors to bring food with them.

There is a no smoking policy in the arena to ensure healthy environment. The arena is full of entertainment all year round with no stopping of the fun it entrails. The arena has a huge space of parking which is divided in to three locations; the County Centre East & west and North White Plains. The charges of parking vary with the nature of the event and location of the lot.

The Westchester County Centre will be showing 12th Jamrock Reggaefest "A Moment In Time" W/Beres Hammond and Friends in the month of July which will be a good treat for everyone coming to watch it.

Other events scheduled to be held at the Westchester County Centre in the year 2009 are Mercy College Graduations, Spa Pool and Patio Show, Shared Services Conference, Mary Lou Seaman Westchester Employee Blood Drive, College of Westchester Graduation, Market Pro Computer Show, BOCES Graduation, Westchester Services Conference, Mt. Vernon High School Graduation.

White Plains Middle and High School Graduation, Woodlands High School Graduation, Walter Panas High School Graduation, Lakeland High School Graduation, Yonkers High School Graduations, Summer Music Centre, Open Gym, Slam Dunk Basketball Camp, New York Metro Reptile Show and the Stamp Coin and Paper Money Show.

Apart from presenting a memorable show or event at the Centre, the food and the cutlery is the most elegant there that the people coming there will definitely adore. The seating arrangement is also up to the mark and guests coming to the shows will have a memorable time.
