Billboard honored The Stanley Theater by naming it as the Number One Auditorium in the U.S. to make this place Benedum Center, on 25th September, 1987 more than $43 million were invested to its restoration. With its signature piece the main chandelier which weighs 4,700 pounds, and has 20 feet height and 12 feet width the place has honored the late H.J. Heinz II.
