Founded in October 1913, the Shubert Theater NY is one of the oldest theaters located in Midtown Manhattan. The theater made its grand opening with the Caesar and Cleopatra play that was directed by George Bernard Shaw and staged by the Forbes-Robertson Repertory Company.
