Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Tickets

The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is one of the halls in the Los Angeles Music Center (which is one of the three largest performing arts centers in the nation). The Pavilion is an remarkable structure with 3,197 seats with four elegant tiers. It has wide curving stairways, chandeliers, and rich d?cor. At the auditorium sections, there are the Orchestra (consisting of the Center Orchestra, Main Orchestra, Premiere Orchestra, and the Orchestra Ring), Circle (consisting of the and Founders Circle and the Grand Circle), Loge (consisting of the Rear Loge and the Front Loge and), and a Balcony (consisting of the Front Balcony and Rear Balcony).

Building the Pavillion structure began on March 9, 1962. It was named after Dorothy Buffum Chandler. She was the one whom had led this project so that the Los Angeles Philharmonic would have a home. She helped to bring back to life the performing arts in Los Angeles. Thanks to her efforts, we now have the Music Center of Los Angeles County. Her tenacious nine-year long effort resulted in the Music Center, and it received more than $19 million in private donations.
