QUEST FIELD

Quest Field is a stadium which serves a lot of purposes and is basically home to Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders FC but is also used for other high school games. The stadium is located in Seattle, Washington, United States of America. The exact address of the stadium is 800 Occidental Avenue S. Seattle Washington 98134 USA. The stadium was opened to general public in 2002 and the owner of the stadium is Washington State Public Stadium Authority. The stadium has a FieldTurf surface, the type players crave to play on. The design of the complex was given by Ellerbe Becket; structural engineer was Magnusson Klemencic Associates and it cost 430 million dollars to construct the whole arena. The former name of the stadium was Seahawks Stadium which was changed to the current name in 2005. The stadium has a seating capacity of 67,000 for National Football League which can be expanded to almost 72,000 depending on the event and it can seat up to 27,700 for Major League Soccer which can be expanded to 67,000 when the crowd is large. The official drink served at the stadium during games is Jones Soda and similar other food and beverage stuff.

On May 3rd, 2009, March for Babies 2009 is going to be featured at the venue. On May 5th, 2009, Go Red for Women Luncheon is scheduled at the venue. On 10th May, 2009, Seattle Sounders FC versus Los Angeles galaxy will entertain the audience. On 12th May, 2009, Seattle Chamber Annual Tradeshow will be held at the Quest Field. On 30th May, 2009, Seattle Sounders will play against Columbus Crew. And on 31st May, Julio Iglesias will enthrall the people in the show An Evening with Julio Iglesias. On 7th June, 2009, Race for the Cure will be featured in Quest Field. On 8th June, 2009, 311 with Ziggy Marley will be featured at the venue. Seattle Sounders FC will play against San Jose earthquakes on 13th June, 2009 in Quest Field. On 17th June, 2009, Seattle Sounders FC will play against D.C United in the Quest Field. Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Health and Fitness Expo will be held on 25th and 26th June. On 27th June, there will be Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon and ½ Marathon. And on 28th June, Seattle Sounders FC will play against Colorado Rapids in the Quest Field. The month of July is also not without its fun. 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup USA will play against Grenada on 4th July, 2009. On 6th July, 2009, Rise Against and Rancid Concert will be held in the Quest Field. On 11th July, 2009, Seattle Sounders FC will play against Houston Dynamo.
