The other purpose of festival is to encourage cross-cultural understanding of East-Lansings diverse society through the presentation of musicians, dancers, cooks, storytellers and craftspeople whose traditions are rooted in their communities.

The city welcomes you to be a part of yet another festival, staged in the heart of downtown area. The festivities take place throughout the weekend with two extraordinary evenings of live jazz.

These include 3,000-square-foot, handicapped-accessible splash park which has 12 interactive water play features, such as jets and sprays zero-depth entry, a 200 foot tube slide, drop slide, body slide, youth frog slide, sand-play area, water activity area, diving board, concessions, family changing rooms, sunbathing deck with lounge chairs and picnic areas outside the facility.
