Bartlesville is one of the important cities of the Washington County in the United States. It is situated in the state of Oklahoma, with a population of more than 34,748, according to the 2000 census.

A great festival named the Indian Summer Festival also held in the same season. There is a youth concert venue called "The Wherehouse," hosting the Christian rock and alternative rock bands and artists for the whole of the year.
The home of Frank Phillips has also turned into a museum, being maintained by the Oklahoma Historical Society. His ranch and retreat is called Woolaroc. It is a museum with the fine exhibition of the Native American, Western, fine art collections and Colt firearms by him.
There place has a large quantity of wildlife preserves with herds of American Bison, elk, , water buffalo, zebra, Texas longhorn cattle and other species of animals. A Wall of Honor is located near Washington Park Mall, having the names of service members.
