The indie rock band Tiger Jaw is out on the road for their final headlining tour before going on their recently announced hiatus from the music industry. The event shall feature top hits from the band's seven year old career as well as performances by accompanying music bands. You can now get your Tiger Jaw tickets booked as you may not get a chance to enjoy the band's astounding music performances live again.
Tiger Jaw was founded in 2006 by a group of friends in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The band released their debut album by the name of 'Belongs to the Dead' under Summersteps Records. The record received positive reviews and appreciation from both the critics and the fans. They continued to explore their creative music paths with side projects like 'Jewish War Veterans' and 'Buona Pizza'.
The band's following self titled album was a revelation of how they evolved and matured as a focused musical group. The clarity of vocals and the subtle sound effects portrayed their confidence and grip on their creative flow of rhythm. The album spawned hit numbers like 'The Sun', 'Heat' and 'Meals on Wheels'. Together the group was able to shed light to the relatively unfamiliar dynamic music scene of the city of Scranton.
Tiger Jaw's collaborative EP with Balance and Composure added four pleasant numbers to the discography of the musicians. Entitled 'Spirit Desire', the EP was released under the label Cover Records. The title track of the collection follows the sound pattern of the band's previous self titled record. The stirring melancholic guitar lines are the highlight of the number. It is supported and enhanced further by the fuzzy bass tone, mid tempo drumming and minimal keyboard effects. With the lyrics complimenting the tune in the most apt manner, the track has turned out to become one of the favorites produced by the indie rockers. The album's up beat songs like 'Crystal vision' and 'We are great, there is only one' are reminiscent of the 90s indie rock and alt rock sounds. The fourth and last track 'Meet me at the corner' is a catchy fun track depicting the fast music approach of the rock stars.
Two Worlds' is another hit album produced by the Scranton based music stars. The record stood most popular for its lively fast paced songs. The title track of the record is a fun number that reflects a high sense of energy and enthusiasm. What is most distinct and interesting about this number is that its high-speed music is contrasted by low toned vocals. Other popular songs of the album include 'Let's go' and Test patterns'. The soaring chorus in the latter is one of the live favorites of the concert audience.
The latest and perhaps last musical contribution by Tiger Jaws came in the form of another collaborative venture, this time with Tiny Engines. Entitled 'Spilt 7', the album entails a variety of songs, those which serve to the tastes to old Tiger Jaw fans as well as those who are listening to their music for the first time. The first few chords of the lead single 'My friend Morrissey' depict an unusual tone that is a surprising step away from the conventional pattern of sounds presented by the group. However with the blocked nasal vocals kicking right back in, the listener sits back satisfied having identified the signature music style of Tiger Jaw.
The second number 'No Mask' brings the rockers back to their comfort territory of punk music and the stars begin to rock in their true upbeat sound and downtrodden lyrical style. The two musical bands (Tiny Engines and Tiger Jaw|) have supported and complemented each other's abilities and styles to produce this rich and diverse piece of music work, one that also serves as an ideal and memorable closing to the music chapter of the indie rock stars from Scranton.
The band however remains popular for their distinctive skewed lyric writing, upbeat music sounds and melancholic nasal sound vocals. Over the years they have performed at many different venues and cities thereby winning a large and diverse audience. As the band embarks upon their last performing tour, people from all over are heading towards their city host. So get your Tiger Jaw tickets and be a part of this memorable concert experience by one of the most famous indie rock bands of the current generation.
