Aaron Dontez Yates or Tech N9ne is a popular American hip hop star, rapper and producer. Hailing from Kansas City, Tech N9ne's vocals have become a regular feature of Hollywood flicks, television series, sports shows and video games. This song was extra special because Yates was featured along with top names of Hip Hop like Eminem, Jayo Felony and Kool G. Travis O'Guin founded the record label Strange Music. Influenced by numerous offshoots of hip hop Tech N9ne remained inspired by his mentors Schoolly D, Public Enemy, Eric B. & Rakim, Just-Ice. His darker side was revealed with indulgence in rock music and stars like Jim Morrison, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin AC/DC, Metallica and Outkast.  It allowed Tech N9ne to add great dimension an depth to his rap and hip hop making it far more energetic and superior than the efforts of his contemporaries.
 
Yates' inability to synch with recording labels allowed him to create his own Strange Music. In 1998 he started crafting his stage name Tech N9ne as a performance that made a difference to live hip hop. The Calm Before the Storm (1999) and The Worst (2000) were two efforts that cemented himas a new rising name in hip hop. With the new millennium setting in Yates released debut studio album Anghellic (2001) that allowed for follow up release Absolute Power (2002). The sophomore effort became a hot spot on the Billboards and the albums in general went fairly well. Everready (The Religion) came to stands in 2006 and Misery Loves Kompany in 2007; both allowed hip hop fans variety and intensity that made Tech N9ne a sensation. Misery Loves Kompany became a headlining effort by Tech N9ne when it became a part of the series of collaborative albums called the Tech N9ne Collabos.
 
Tech N9ne's Killer (2008) won huge general and critical acclaim. More importantly the albums commercial success made headlines with one million plus album sales. Tech N9ne Collabos: Sickology 101, the second of the series maintained his name as a big player of words. K.O.D. (2009), The Gates Mixed Plate (the third Collabos album) (2010), All 6's And 7's (2011), Welcome to Strangeland (2011) and TBA (2012) all spawned the most illustrious  years of Tech N9ne's existence. Names like Mint Condition, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg,Twista, Yelawolf, Deftones, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain and many others collaborated with Tech N9ne and delivered awesome rap.
