This is a teaming up of two sensational artists who have pushed the boundaries of multiple genres and have fused them together to come up with a sound as unique as themselves. Sublime with Rome is a combination of Rome Ramirez and Eric Wilson who has been a member of the group Sublime. Bud Gaugh used to be a part of this collection as well before his departure in the year 2011. Sublime as a group were incepted in the year 1988. The idea to create the group stemmed from the longstanding friendship Wilson and Gaugh had for quite a few years.

They started off performing in and around California. The talents were there for everyone to see and it didn't take them too long to develop a considerable fan following. The applause they were getting during those years of infancy paved the way for Sublime to hit the studio and work on their first album. "40oz. to Freedom" hit the music stores in the year 1992 and did well enough to bring the group into the attention of the mainstream music fraternity. Then came their next album titled "Robbin' the Hood" but that album didn't too well on the charts. The group did not let that weaken their resolve and hit back with a self-titled album in the year 1996. It turned out to be a huge hit that captivated the music loving audiences everywhere. It went on to capture high positions on the charts and sold well over a staggering five million copies in the United States alone. It was met with a lot of critical acclaim as well and had every critic raving about it.

The lead-up to the creation of the album was tragic because one of the founding members of the group Bradley Nowell passed away suddenly. The remaining members of the band decided to dedicate the album to Nowell and dissolve the group shortly afterwards. Wilson and Gaugh then teamed up to perform once again.

They were joined by Rome Ramirez in 2009 and the three of them began to take to the stage together. The addition of Rome to the ranks worked to perfection. His skills as both a vocalist and a guitarist were exactly what was required to complete the new line-up. Rome had always been a huge Sublime fan. He knew what the band stood for and knew what their music was all about. Rome first interacted with Wilson to work with him on a video. He used to perform on Sublime songs and that led him to joining the band itself, first temporarily and then on a permanent basis.

Rome became a constant feature of the line-up for almost every concert and keeping that in mind the name was then switched to Sublime with Rome.  They released an album titled "Yours Truly" in 2011. It was met with widespread critical and commercial acclaim upon its release. Gaugh left shortly afterwards to work independently and his place was taken up by "Josh Freese."

Together Rome, Wilson and Freese have been performing constantly. They are now among the most sought after performers on the circuit.
