Anthrax Tickets

Anthrax is a devastatingly mind blowing, thrash metal band formed by talented guitarists Danny Lilker and Scott Ian who strategically sought to create a strong metal environment in the 1980s when the genre newly began to pick momentum  in the United States. Anthrax, alongside the godly likes of Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth were considered to be one of the four greatest, revolutionary and trend setting metal bands of the time. Since its inception they have successfully released twenty singles, ten studio albums as well as an outstanding EP that contains hit tracks the American hip hop band known as Public Enemy. The band received sky soaring popularity and wild crazy fans lining up for those Anthrax tickets so they could watch the group's live performances for which it had made quite a boldly dazzling reputation.

Anthrax was created in 1981 by Lilker and Ian who named it after a deadly disease listed in biology book, and chose it owing to the fact that it sounded devastatingly evil. The band has undergone many changes in its line up but initially it consisted of Kenny Kushner as the bassist and Dave Weiss as the drummer. Soon enough the band received sky soaring popularity since their sound connected strongly with the metal loving audience of the time, and is considered to be a pioneering metal band. They are the first metal band to sign with a big act label such as Island Records.

The lineup of Anthrax has gone through constant change owing to the departure of group members of due to the inadequacy of others. When Weiss left drumming along with Kushner leaving as the bassist, quite a few musicians were seen replacing the two group members, among whom Greh Walls and Paul Khan were the first ones to. Also there were several vocalists such as Joey Belladona, John Bush and Neil Turbin who stood as the band's front men at different times, but were seen going in and out of the band. Ian is perhaps the only member who has been consistently dedicated to the band since it was created. Charlie Benante joined the band in 1983 and had been part of each album and act since then going on steady with Ian. Frank Bello became a part of Anthrax as the bassist and has continued to appear on each album except the first one.Belladona, who is praised for his classic singing abilities returned to the group, appearing on the intriguing album titled WorshipMusic that is known to be his earliest Anthrax studio album after the release of Persistence in Time that came out in 1990.  

The studio albums released by Anthrax comprise of Fistful of Metal, Spreading the Disease, Among the Living, State of Euphoria, Persistence of Time, Sound of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8: The Threat is Real, We've Come For You All and WorshipMusic, in that order. Their most recent album Worship Music was released in 2011, which is marked for it's the original quality of its music which had been lacking since 2003. The album also includes Joey Belladona with his magnificent range of vocals that have taken the music up several notches and enticed older fans. The tracks such as Revolution Screams and Earth on Hell center round the themes of democracy in America as well as all around the globe.
According to Ian, the songs from the 2011 album are all about people trying to bring change and grabbing back whatever power they gave to the government. Another song called 'Fight Em Til You Can't' is about morbidly putting zombies to death, while In the End was written wonderfully to pay tribute to the band's favorite figure, Dimebag Darrelland the late Ronnie James Dio. All the songs included in this album with the exception of NewNoise, which was actually written by the band called Refused, were written by Anthrax.
