All American Rejects 2024 Tickets

Also referred to as AAR, the All-American Rejects are a rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma. The band was formed by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler in 2001 and released the EP Same Girl, New Songs and began to tour the American Midwest with Clayton Rhoades.

The group re-released their breakthrough album, The All-American Rejects, in 2003. The album launched them into their mainstream capabilities with their hit, Swing, Swing.

Ritter and Wheeler followed up with Move Along, which catapulted their status to one of the top pop rock bands. The album was certified double Platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA and spawned yet another hit single 'Dirty Little Secret'.

The band is planning to launch their third album titled 'When The World Comes Down' by the last quarter of the year 2008.

The music video for the Dirty Little Secret was filmed at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania, featuring images from the collective art project PostSecret.

The video of the single 'Move Along' was a tribute to their deceased touring keyboardist Timothy Jordan II. In August 2006, Move Along spawned its third single 'It Ends Tonight'. The video for 'It Ends Tonight' debuted in the UK on August 28, 2006 and peaked at #2 in TRL.

On New Year's Eve 2005, the Rejects performed The Cars' 'Good Times Roll' with Fall Out Boy on MTV. The following New Year's Eve, they played a special in Las Vegas's Fremont Street.

To promote the band, the Rejects released a small EP, The Bite Back EP which is currently available only on the popular music service, iTunes.

In 2007, the group teamed up with Danny Elfman to create the song 'The Future Has Arrived' for the Disney animated film named 'Meet the Robinsons'.

The Rejects released a DVD in July 2007 featuring performances from the 'Tournado' tour. Meanwhile, they released their Pepsi can, which depicted designs such as guitars, the Tournado logo, and a silhouette of the band.

On August 5, 2007, the duo showed up on the TV show 'Schooled'. Students from New Milford High School in New Milford, New Jersey were pranked and then surprised by a concert by the All-American Rejects.

On November 16, 2007, the All-American Rejects decked the stage at the Oklahoma Centennial Spectacular concert with their striking performances.

The duo played their hit song, 'Move Along'. While concluding the song, Tyson Ritter did a personalized good bye to the people of Oklahoma. The Rejects received a standing ovation.

The band's third album is slated for a release during the last quarter of 2008. In an interview on July 2nd, Tyson Ritter said that the album would probably be called 'Hope it Gives You Hell' or 'Mona Lisa'.

He also revealed the names of a few other tracks for the first time which inckude 'The Real World', 'Breaking's What the Heart Is For', 'Another Heart Calls', and 'Believe'.

The Rejects played 'I Wanna Touch You' at Katy Mills Mall in Katy, Texas and announced that the song would be featured on The House Bunny, a film which Ritter is in.
