In 2005 His appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was a once in a life time opportunity which became his actual boost in his career where he was one of a few selected ones ever who have receive a standing ovation on the show. A firm believer of humanity, social services and giving back to community, he formed THE JO KOY FOUNDATION in 2009 and later hosted his first huge philanthropic event Hilarity for Charity featuring himself in a stand-up comedy show along with special surprise comedic guests. The show took place at The John Lovitz comedy club located in the heart of Citywalk, and all the proceeds from the ticket sales were donated to the Children's Hospital of Orange County. He is currently working with The Lupus Foundation bringing awareness to this cause.
