Some of the OSU's alumni that made it in to NFL include Chad Johnson, Terry Baker, and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. The dawn of the new millennium happened to be birth of a new Beavers football team that was even more competitive. Before that Beavers have 30 years of losing history. However in Beavers 2000-2001 Season they were bigger and they were better, and got enough fame after coming out victorious from a match up against Notre Dame in Fiesta Bowl.
Women's Basketball program at Oregon State University has been successful. OSU's Women's Basketball program also has a sound history of producing strong players including Felicia Ragland.
