After England beat Poland with the score of 2-0 and qualified for the World Cup, Hodgson expressed his happiness saying that this was the proudest moment in his career so far.

England has appeared in a total of 13 FIFA World Cups so far and is known as the sixth best football team. Also, having appeared in eight UEFA European Football Championship Finals, it is ranked at the ninth position among the talented football teams.
