Details of The Northern Lights and the Ticket Luck value
Situated at Clifton Park, in the city of New York, is the very famous live-music venue known as Northern Lights. One can say that it is kind of out in the middle of nowhere.
It is in a strip mall, right next to a recreational vehicle warehouse. Despite its location, the venue is in all time favorite of millions!
Northern Lights have its own charms, which become apparent as soon as you enter the club's big central room. The staff is very friendly, yet very competent as well.
The mid-sized venue features a great pub-grub menu, pool tables, video games and excellent beer selections. All Northern Lights shows are general admission, standing room shows, unless specifically stated.
The capacity is 1100 generally, but it can be expandable depending on the show and the ticket demand. However, you must be 16 years of age or older to attend any event at Northern Lights.
Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian whom is over the age of 21. This age policy applies to all events unless otherwise specifically noted.
Recently, Upstate Concerts, Inc., a joint venture between two regional concert promoters, has purchased Northern Lights. The venue will be undergoing renovations, including a new paint job, air conditioning and plumbing upgrades, along with the hope to expand the venue"s stage and build a dressing room, and eventually divide the room into separate large and small clubs.
It is also heard that the club might be moved to a larger space within the North Country Commons complex, where it currently resides, in a couple of years.
Bands such as Third Eye Blind and Hanson have been seen here at Northern Lights. Many other famous bands and artists also appear here.
Whenever there's a big show at Northern Lights, Clifton Park turns from a quiet suburb into one with a loud, throbbing heart. The venue is diverse with no definitive genre being featured at Northern Lights, thus, the owners are given the ability to bring in varied acts.
Northern Lights" next show is the Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour show scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3. Upstate Concerts has continued to book acts at the club and the new owner is hoping to expand the venue"s offerings in the future.
