Kristin Chenoweth is a multi-talented American actress and singer, with experience in television, film and musical theatre. She is most popular for playing the character of Sally Brown in the series You're aGood Man, Charlie Brown, which brought her a TonyAward. As a child, Chenoweth sang gospel music and studied opera prior to deciding upon a career in theatre musicals. She is considered to have some of the most distinctive voices and has been compared to the likes of Betty Boop. The artist has had classical training in coloratura soprano and can skillfully sing in the F6 note. He studio albums include As I Am, Some Lessons Learned, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas and Let Yourself Go. She has made quite a reputation for performing live having played some amazing concerts such as that at Carnegie Hall in 2004, and at New York's The Metropolitan Opera in 2007. In 2003, Kristin Chenoweth gave a solo performance in London, which was a part of the high profile series Divas at Donnar for director Sam Mendes. A few months later she sang Glinda, which was part of Wicked's cast recording, alongside singing the soundtrack recording for a Disney musical The MusicMan. 2004, saw the release of her second album titled As I Am that comprised of different spiritual songs. The album climbed to the thirty-first spot on US Christian Album charts, and the same year she performed live at Carnegie Hall.
Kristin Chenoweth in 2007, she was featured in several tracks on Nathan Gunn's album Just Before Sunshine and released her third solo album the following years called A Lovely Way To Spend Christmas. Chenoweth along with her fans had long waited for this album which featured a duet with singer John Pizzarelli, alongside many holiday songs as well as traditional carols such as The Lord's Prayer. This third album has been her most successful peaking at number seventy-seven on US Holiday Albums charts and has appeared as a Number One on US Heatseekers chart. Chenoweth has played several solo concerts across the United States, including her own concert arrangement in 2009 at Fox Theatre, which featured St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
Beginning in 2010, between her off-nights from the musical Promises, Promises, Kristin Chenoweth went to Nashville to record tracks for her fourth solo album, which is a country pop endeavor. In September 2011, she released her album titled Some Lessons Learned. This album featured songs by other renowned artists such as Dolly Parton, Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum, and Diane Warren among several others. Chenoweth has won a large following with her incredible live performances that include songs about love, Christmas, holidays and life.
