The Lumineers, enlightening the world with their folk rock music are one of the most recent bands on the rock scene. They have got international acclaim recently for their rock music and to get more attuned to the music scene the Lumineers are performing in concerts live this year 2012. This band has its origination from Colorado, America and it is in the music scene since 2002 till present. The Lumineers bad consists of some very talented musician like the lead vocalist and guitarist Wesley Schultz, the awesome drummer Jeremiah Fraites and our very own Neyla Pekarek on vocals, cello and piano.
 
Their music is from the folk rock genre with has its roots in 1960s music bands like Beatles, Byrds etc. This music was sung all around Americas and European continent. This kind of music is a mixture of folk music and the rock music therefore, it’s hard to define the boundaries between the both. This is also an amalgam of British an American music flavors. With the folk rock comes along country folk, electric folk and celtic rock as the subgroups. The folk rock has been revived time and again in the music industry but now the Lumineers have taken the privilege to revive this genre with their intense and illuminating music.
 
Making of a band and its musical journey never comes easy and that was the case with the Lumineers as well. As Jeremiah brother passed away with and overdose of drug he indulged in music in 2002 as a refugee to their personal problems. After casually performing music in New York both initial musicians expanded their prospects in the music industry and left for Denver after burning all ships behind them. At Denver they met the musician Neyla Pekarek and they started playing together enhancing their skills while playing basement clubs and low level places. They got their initial attention by singing Ho Hey in one of the series of television Hart of Dixie. This song was again used in an advertisement and this lead to more fame and acclamation for the Lumineers band. During 2011, their tour led to acclaim and fan following and their skill was acknowledged across US.
 
In 2012, the Lumineers self-released their album on the Dualtone Records. This album got lot of admiration and was till the 45th position in the 200 Billboard songs. The Lumineers’ self-titled albums has some of the most hot and amazing songs like the most favorite Ho Hey, Scotland, Classy Girls, Gun Song and in the end the Soundtrack Song. The song of Lumineers debut album has a lot of soul and matter depicting the love for rustic folk rock music.  So there was blood and sweat in the music they made because they didn’t earn it in a night but through years of struggle and dedication. The Lumineers Announce 2020 Tour Dates

Fans of the American rock band, The Lumineers are in for a treat as they have announced a North American tour for 2020. It is in support of their new album III which hit the store shelves in September 2019. The "Ho Hey" singers will kick off the trek with a show in Asheville, NC in February following which they will hit notable cities in the US and Canada for an additional 29 concerts. 

III debuted at the second spot on the Billboard 200 and is the band’s third record to hit the Top 2 in the US. The collection features songs such as "Left for Denver," "It Wasn’t Easy to be Happy for You," "Donna" and "Gloria."
