Julion Alvarez marked his entry into the music scene in 2007 with the release of his debut album, "Corazon Magico". The record quickly caught the attention of music lovers and received a lot of commercial success. This encouraged Alvarez to release his sophomore album, "Desde Mazatlan" the very next year. In 2010 Alvarez released the album, "El Rey Del Carnaval" which turned out to be a huge success in the United States. Alvarez performed at various sell-out shows across the country during this time. In early 2011, Julion released the track Marchate. Composed by Luis Arturo Lopez and Teodoro Bello, this single also managed to score a spot on the Latino charts.

In 2011, Julion Alvarez was nominated for several awards for the single Ni Lo Intentes, which peaked at the top spot on Mexican and Latino charts. The next year he toured to California for the first time and rocked thousands of people with his numbers. In 2013, Alverez released the track Dondequiera que vaya. Right after the release of this single he performed a duet with the pop superstar Dulce Maria and received a lot of critical acclaim. These days, he has got everyone buzzing about his album "El Aferrado" and it is to promote this album that he is on the road for some live shows.
