My show is like a roller-coaster ride with five-minute songs that move you through a movie. There are costumes, street scenes and ballads. As composer, guitarist, and creative force behind the event, RONI BENISE is amongst a group of artists who allure people of diverse musical backgrounds, ages and cultures. Roni Benise is a self taught Spanish guitarist described as Nouveau Spanish Flamenco Guitarist. Initially gaining popularity as a street entertainer in Southern California, he soon had sold-out concerts at small stadiums in the area. A new age Django Reinhardt is what Benise has been referred by many.

His music has been called passionate and moving. RONI mesmerizes his audience on an exotic voyage with unbridled choreography and sounds that embrace inspirations of all the artists'. Backed by 25 musicians and dancers, a lavishly decorated stage, and fantastic choreography, Nights of Fire! , his Emmy? Award-winning world music and dance stage production, is worth remembering. Launching nationally on PBS, Nights of Fire! is an unprecedented adventure though Spanish Flamenco, Cuban Salsa, African Tribal Rhythms, Argentinean Tango, and Brazilian Samba. He performed a related tour throughout 2006. To date Benise has produced eight CDs and 2 DVDs.

RONI always charted his distinctive path, having fiery melodies and energetic rhythms, weaving a stunning tapestry of emotions. When he received his first guitar at eleven, he relentlessly practiced himself, mastering a variety of styles that eventually became his own unique sound. Benise moved 1500 miles away to Los Angeles with his guitar and encouragement, after being turned down by many LA clubs. Later he performed on the streets of Los Angeles, and Disneyland in Anaheim. Native Angelinos and Tourists took immense interest in Roni. Though unable to read a single note, he composed original works with powerful emotional arrangements; wild and refined yet romantic and sensual. He now sells out concerts not only in the So Cal area, but also nationwide. I'm always inspired by places I've traveled, so I'll try to capture the essence and beauty of the different places in my melodies. Besides organizing stunning live shows, BENISE produced, arranged and released albums and DVD's on his own independent record label, Rosanegra Music. Benise comments It's almost like writing a soundtrack to a movie, but a lot of my songs tell a story so they're perfect for the stage.
