Details of Head Automatica and the Ticket Luck value
Here comes a band that has rocked the nation in a very short span of time. Head Automatica is a powerful band that combines the talent of Daryl, Jarvis Morgan, and Bon & Jessie to produce some of the most thrilling tunes of recent times.
This alternative rock band was formed by Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo who now handles the lead vocals, guitars, and programming section of the band. Head Automatica is result of his interests in the hip hop and Britpop genres.
He wanted to create music inspired by these genres and Glassjaw did not have a room for it. So, in order to showcase the other side of these genres, Palumbo created a band by the name of Head Automatica that is ruling the music scene.
The band released its debut album, Decadence on August 17, 2004 under Warner Bros label. The album debuted at No. 10 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart and remained on Billboard Magazine top 200 albums and Top Heatseekers charts for a long time.
Decadence was the brainchild of Palumbo and Dan Nakamura. The two allegedly met at a party and worked on what later became the album.
Palumbo, who is known better for his work in Alternative metal music, then included the other members and toured the United States quite successfully. They played with bands like Interpol, The Rapture, Mogwai and The Used.
The bands second album was produced by Howard Benson. Titled Popaganda, the album has been an out and out success since its release on June 6, 2006.
Citing Squeeze and Elvis Costello as influences, the band took a more organic, classic power-pop approach with this album. The Pop Rocks EP features their selections and along with their handwritten logo by New York artist, Ben Knight.
Graduation Day is one the most successful tracks of the band. The video for Graduation Day made it to #4 on the MTV2 Rock Countdown in the summer of 2006, and was also #2 on the Sirius Alternative Nation TOP 21 countdown.
Besides making good music, Head Automatica has also done many successful tours. In a very short span of time, the band has performed in many sold-out concerts and has got the chance to rub shoulders with the big wings from the world of music.
Head Automaticas tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria in 2006 and another one with Taking Back Sunday, Angels & Airwaves, and The Subways in the same year paved the way for bands success.
They supported 30 Seconds to Mars on the MTV2 $2 Bill Tour along with The Receiving End of Sirens, Cobra Starship, and Rock Kills Kid.
In early 2007, they also played on The West Coast Winter Tour with Jack's Mannequin, We Are The Fury, and the Audition. Now with another album and many interesting tours in the offing, the band is ready to pick up the guitars once again.
The cool boys of Head Automatica are coming to rock you on your feet. Watch out for brilliant vocals by Daryl Palumbo, Jarvis Morgan Holden on bass, Larry Gorman doing drums and backing vocals, Jessie Nelson on organ, piano, and keys and Craig Bonich playing the guitars to the fullest of his ability; these boys will surely make you dance like never before.
