Eric Prydz is a world famous Swedish DJ and producer, whose music has entertained millions since his debut in 2001. One of the hottest house and electronic musicians today, he is from Taby in the Swedish capital of Stockholm and has released music under many names and record labels. Often combining electronic and house music, he is also a keyboardist whose music has been released through such major record labels as Virgin, EMI and Astralwerks as well as his own labels, Mousevillem, Pryda Friends and Pryda. Eric Prydz is based today in the great city of Los Angeles and is often ranked as one of the Top 100 DJs by DJ Magazine. He has released several chart topping singles and holds the record for the Fastest Selling Release on Beatport. He rose to fame with the release of the number one hit single, Call On Me.  The song went on to sell over four million copies, leading to worldwide fame and success. He followed it up with going back to the studio and recording more music. He was then signed onto Ministry Of Sound and became the first artist to be allowed to sample Pink Floyd's songs.

Eric Prydz's second hit single was Proper Education, which sampled Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. He followed it up with a music video, which was also hailed as phenomenal. His next big hit was Pjanoo, released in 2008. The song became the Fastest Selling Release on Beatport, praised by the likes of Pete Tong and Zane Lowe. It also went to receive not one but four Record of the Week awards from Radio 1. It ranked number two on the music charts, and first on some. The song also received a lot of airplay, on radio and TV.

He followed the release of this single with a series of concerts and then returned to the studio to record more songs, for his record labels Mouseville and Pryda. These two labels have become synonymous with fabulous electronic and house music. They are amongst the most influential and successful record labels in dance music, and ranked by Beatport as one of the Biggest Grossing imprints. Through these labels, Prydz has released several famous songs, including Armed, Aftermath, Melo and Muranyi.

Through Mouseville, Prydz has released music such as Cirez D, with songs such as On Off. He has also founded the label Pryda Friends to release music created with some of his fellow DJs and musicians. This includes songs such as 123, in collaboration with Axwell and 193 with Paul Mojo. His live performances are in high demand worldwide, with many of the greatest festivals and venues playing host to him. His songs have topped the UK Singles chart for five weeks at a time, and ranked number one on the German Top 100 for six weeks.

In 2012, he released a three disc album via Virgin Records that was made up of many of his popular songs, songs from the Pryda label and some of his remixes and re-edits. The album was titled Eric Prydz Presents Pryda and was released to much global fanfare at a launch event in London's Ministry of Sound club. The album charted on the UK Albums Chart and Belgian Ultratop chart, amongst others.

His songs have been certified platinum in Australia, gold in France, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland. As Pryda, he has released many songs, including Human Behaviour, Spooks, Nile, Remember, Aftermath, Genesis and RYMD.

His latest songs, as Pryda, are 2013's Layers and Power Drive. As Cirez D, he has released songs such as Deep Inside, Control Freak and 2013's Thunderstuck and Accents.
