The Melvins is an American Rock trio that was formed in 1983. The lead singer and guitarist Buzz Osborne, popularly known as King Buzzo along with the drummer Dale Crover have been the main members of the band. The band is named after Osborne's supervisor Melvin when he worked as a clerk at a Thriftway in Washington. Their Album 'My War' is a blend of punk rock and heavy metal.
