In 1999, Marc Anthony released an English Latin pop album which was named after his own name, Marc Anthony. This album was also a great hit and had a touch of salsa in the pop. In 2001, his Latin Album, Libre, was released which took him further in his path of success and remained number one on Billboard Latin Album charts for fourteen weeks. A year later, in 2002, another of his English album, Mended, was released which gained a little less popularity then his previous English album but had some hit singles. In 2004, another Latin pop album was released with the name, Amar Sin Mentiras. In the same year, the singer converted the songs of this album to salsa in another album called, Vailo la Pena. Both the albums got huge success and won awards of the Best Latin Album and Best Tropical Album of the Year respectively. And as latest as in 2006, Marc Anthony released yet another Spanish album, Sigo Siendo Yo, which also got huge success.
