And he chose the one that had big names like Justin Moore, Jewel, Reba McEntire and Brantley Gilbert associated to it.
 
His first work of music came out as the single “Something to Do with My Hands” which he released in 2012. Later that year, he released another single titled, “Beer with Jesus”. Both the songs received positive reviews from listeners and critics alike. Videos of these singles were also much praised. Rhett got back together with Jason Aldean in 2013 to work on his single, “1994”. He also released a self-titled EP in 2012 before starting to work on his debut album.
 
Rhett was not into music in his early years, developing an interest only later. Currently, Thomas Rhett is working on his debut album which he will be releasing soon under the label of Valory Music Group - a division of Big Machine Records. Rhett has grown up with country, hip hop and rock; a combination which shows from his music.
