The Isley Brothers is an American musical group that originated from Cincinnati Ohio in 1954. The band's original line-up consisted of brothers O' Kelly Isley, Rudolph Isley, Ronald Isley and Vernon Isley. The band's music style was initially influenced by gospel and doo-wop and later incorporated elements of rock, funk and pop balladry.
