Swedish House Mafia is an unbelievably talented, electronic dance music group of three members. It was officially formed in 2008. The trio comprises of three house disc jockeys. The outfit has been placed on number 10 in the Top DJ Poll during 2011, in the DJ Magazine.
 
Now if you are wondering, how did this awesome group Swedish House Mafia become so popular? It was three forty five in the morning. Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axwell, the trio of Swedish House Mafia, went down to the DJ booth while they were at  Masquerade Motel night.  They dropped One, their highly acknowledged summer anthem! This anthem was so thrilling and energetic that it instantly won the approval of the crowd present there. The scene was like they had stepped out onto the stage as if they were at Wembley. The anthem was such a hit, that they had to play it again at the request of the people before the night was over. Whether it is Zane Lowe or Erick Morillo, there is no one who possesses the electronic sense and has not been influenced by the power of One. This tune is now signed up with Virgin Records and has been powered by the silky voice of Pharrell Williams.
 
Get Dumb became the first major release of the band. The next album, Leave the World Behind, hit the markets in 2009. A year later, they signed a deal with Polydor Records of UMG. They stopped recording with the EMI due to difference of opinion. Instead, they started working successfully with UMG. Their official first single was One that earned them a huge name. It was a great success, that track reached at number 7 in the UK Singles Chart. The next single that Swedish House Mafia gave was Miami 2 Ibiza that featured Tinie Tempah. In the UK Singles Chart, this number secured the fourth position. Both these songs were taken from the album Until One. Until One is a beautiful collection of production and remixes that included the works of Swedish house Mafia as a group as well as their individual works.
 
Swedish House Mafia has also won a BPI Gold Sales award in UK. They released another single in May 2011 known as Save the World. They used John Matin's vocals for this track and being a popular one, it again secured 10^th position in the UK Singles Chart. Their next release, Antidote, came later in the same year on December 16. On 12^th March 2012, the Swedish House Mafia released another single that was titled Greyhound. Axwell, Steve and Sebastian are separate artists. They have their own separate labels and have their individual lives and careers going out.
