In 2002, one year after the not-so-good run of The Inhuman Condition, MapleMusic Recordings re-released the album in the summer. This time, everyone got the taste of Roberts music and he got wide appreciation from the listeners as well as from the critics.

Its first single Brother Down topped the charts and became one of the biggest hits in Canada. Don't Walk Away Eileen followed the success and further widened his fan base.

The Inhuman Condition made Sam Roberts a breakthrough hit in Canada and became one of the bestselling independent releases in Quebec and Canadian music history, selling over 50,000 copies and certified Gold in Canada.

This earned him name, fame and a record deal with Universal Music that released his second major album We Were Born in a Flame. Released in June 2003, this album further raised his stature in Canadian music scene, thanks to its singles Where Have All the Good People Gone and Hard Road.

It also got him two Juno Awards in 2004 for Album Of The Year and Rock Album Of The Year. Roberts also walked away with the Juno award for Artist Of The Year.

Sam Robertss next, Chemical City, was released on April 2006. Its first single The Gate quickly became the Numero Uno of Canadian rock radio. Bridge to Nowhere and With a Bullet also followed the suit and put Roberts on the top-spot of Canadian rock scene. He also expanded his base to USA with this album as it was released and appreciated there as well.

More recently, Sam Roberts came up with Love at the End of the World that was released in May 2008. With great single like Them Kids, it debuted at the number one position on the Canadian indie charts making Roberts a face of Canadian rock music for the whole world.
