Born in November of 1984 in South Carolina, Patina Miller attended the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities. She was taught singing at a very early age. Often at weekends, she used to sing choir at a local church. She graduated in music theatre from Carnegie Mellon University.
Patina Miller played the role of Effie White in Dreamgirls. In 2007, she was offered a role in All My Children. In addition, she performed in Hair during the summer of 2008 and later, she managed to get the role of Delores Van Cartier in The Sister Act. With this,she rose to new heights of fame and popularity. She paid great attention to her diet and joined the Mark Fisher Fitness in Manhattan for weight-lifting and balancing her body perfectly well.
