Ozzfest was first started in 1996 under the organization of Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon. Ozzfest is basically one of the greatest heavy metal music fiesta conducted every year. Ozzfest feature several heavy music bands touring across the USA . This is the ultimate opportunity for the fans to watch and hear their favorite music bands live. All congregated in one place for their listening pleasure.

The tour is conventionally composed of two stages. The first one consists of the heavy hitters. Guys and gals who have done some record breaking stuff in the recording industry. The second stage has relatively less famous or mostly newer bands and solo singers. Not "B" by any means, but still.we are talking some serious competition here!

Ozzfest is so big that it can't be contained in arenas. Need big stadiums and open spaces to fit the twenty thousand or so fans. In larger metropolitan areas, we are talking fifty thousand screaming fans! What a party!

The first Ozzfest held in 1996 included the legendary Slayer, the Danzig Sepultura , Fear Factory and The Coal Chamber. While it shocked the prudes, it was a brilliant success. And it kept getting better, year after year. Think about it. It's a bargain. Where else can you party hearty with some of the best bands. All in one stadium, if not under one roof!
