Details of St Louis Blues and the Ticket Luck value
St. Louis Blues are surely one of the toughest ice hockey teams on the field. They surely know the art of giving a hard time to their opponents. Till now they have got eight divisional titles and one Presidents Trophy. If you love ice hockey then you shouldn’t miss the upcoming game of this team, all you got to do is get Louis Blues tickets and be at the arena.
St. Louis Blues is a team from St. Louis, Missouri. They play in the central division of the Western Conference. The team was founded in 1967. The official colors of the Blues are white, gold, blue and navy blue. It is currently owned by SLB Acquisition Holdings; the general manager is Dough Armstrong and head coach is Ken Hitchcock.
St. Louis Blues truly have an impressive record in their divisions. In their very first season they amazed everyone by reaching the playoffs by beating tough teams like Minnesota North Stars and Philadelphia Flyers. They lost the final to the very strong Montreal Canadiens. In the 1968-69 they were simply unstoppable and raced to the top position in the division but lost in the playoff finals again to the Canadiens. In 1969-60 they shined once again by winning the divisional title, this time they lost to the Boston Bruins in the final of the playoffs. From 1970 onwards the team went into a bad phase and during the next four decades they only managed to win the divisional title six times.
During this era they never qualified for the playoff finals. In most of the season they lost in the divisional finals whereas in some they weren’t able to even qualify. The season of 1985-86 can be termed as relatively a better one for the Blues as this was the only time that they managed to not only win the divisional finals but also play for the first time in Conference finals losing to Calgary Flames.
The latest season of 2011-2012 was a good one for the Blues as after almost ten years they managed to win the divisional title and also won the conference quarterfinals. They lost the in the semifinals from Los Angeles Kings. The current team captain is David Backes whereas some other fine players on the roster are Ian Cole, Jake Allen, Brian Elliot, Kris Russell, Chris Stewart, Chris Porter and Scott Nichol.
For the last two decades the Blues play all their home games at the very spacious and popular venues in St. Louis namely Scottrade Center. This is a multipurpose sports arena that is located at 1401 Clark Avenue. It has the capacity to seat around 20,000 fans. The center not only caters for ice hockey games but it also hosts concerts, basketball as well as wrestling matches. Some other teams that have been using this venue in the past as a home arena include Saint Louis Billikens, St. Louis Vipers, St. Louis Ambush and St. Louis Stampede. Extremely popular WWE wrestling events such as Badd Blood, Elimination Chamber, Survivor Series, Monday Night Raw and Royal Rumble have taken place here. At this venue a number of famous music artists and bands have also given live performances such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smashing Pumpkins, Eric Clapton, Nine Inch Nails, Kiss, Frank Sinatra, Metallica, Phil Collins, Prince and Elton John.
