The Red Bull Flying Bach is an extraordinary set of performances put on stage by the four times break dancing champions of the world Flying Steps and the classical opera composer, Christoph Hagel. What might seem polar opposites to many provided them with an opportunity to come up with a stunning unique extravaganza. This is not just an ordinary performance, it is something that has to be seen to be believed. Flying Steps hail from Berlin, Germany and were formed in the year 1993 by Vartan Bassil and Kadir Memis.
The group consists of nine performers. Over the years they have participated and won the biggest awards in the business which includes a whooping four world titles. They have been able to generate a lot of fans and media attention because of everything they have to offer and that has played a big part in turning them into the global stars we all see today. They now have their own record label and are also founders of the Flying Steps Dance Academy. The institution focuses on identifying and grooming the next generation of super stars to captivate fans around the globe.
Christoph Hagel does not need any introductions either. He took his first steps in musical compositions in the city of Venice. There he was taught by two of the greatest names in the industry Sergiu Celibidache and Leonard Bernstein. Although Christoph is from Berlin but his drive to be the best took him to learning the ins and outs of compositions in other cities like Munich, Venice and New York. He also honed his skills be playing in Latin America for a few years. Mexico, Argentina and Columbia became his ports of call where he led orchestras. What has made him different from the rest is his selection of unusual places and venues to perform. Some of his most iconic performances are The Magic Flute at the underground in Berlin, Don Giovanni at the E-Werk in Berlin and Orpheus and Eurydice at the Bode Museum in Berlin among many others.
Flying Steps and Christoph Hagel are two different sides of the spectrum as it is and the introduction of Bach's music makes the prospect all that much more fascinating. With Christoph pulling the strings and over seeing everything and the Flying Steps doing what they do best, the Red Bull Flying Bach is a show for all ages. It all started just a couple of years ago when with Christoph at the helm, Flying Steps performed to the magical music from Johann Sebastian Bach's all time classic Well-Tempered Clavier. From Eurovision Song Contest to the Bundestag, this stunning performance has turned them into household names.
After scintillating performances in their home country and around some parts of Europe, the Red Bull Flying Bach are now ready to take the next step. In order to take the giant leap and show what they have got to offer in a seventy minute action packed acts to an even bigger audience they have now embarked on a world tour. This is the chance they had been dreaming off since they first started rocking fans in 2010. The dream come true and if the response they have been getting in the first part of their road trip is anything to go by then there is no limit to how high they can go. You can buy Red Bull Flying Bach tickets and watch them live at an event that will take your breath away.
