The San Antonio Talons are a pro arena football franchise based in San Antonio, Texas. They were founded in 2000 and have been active since then. The Talons were a member of the af2 league for nine years, joining the AFL, the Arena Football League in 2010. They are a member of the league's National Conference, within its Central Division. They were known as the Tulsa Talons for the first eleven years and have been known by their present name since 2011. The Talons play at the Alamodome, previously having played at the BOK Center and the Tulsa Convention Center. Their official team colors are white and blue. The San Antonio Talons' president is Rob Yowell with Lee Johnson as the head coach. They are proud winners of two Arena Cup Championships; the first won in 2003 and the second in 2007. The team's head coach, Mitch Allner, is also the only person in the history of the league to win the Arena Cup championship as a player and as a head coach.
