Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
A minor league baseball team and considered as a high-A class team in the California League, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes is situated in the town of Rancho Cucamonga of California State. Since 2001 they had been a farm team of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Later affiliating with the Lake Elsinore Storm.

The Quakes franchise had their first game in Lodi in 1966. The team then relocated to San Bernardino in 1986 and was called the Spirit. The Quakes made another move in the year of 1993 to the present location. They had won the California League championship in 1994.

The team plays its home games at The Epicenter, which was opened in 1992. The park has the seating capacity of almost 6,200 fans. The mascot of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes is Tremor, the Rallysaurus. A famous television actor Mark Harmon was one of the team's owners until he sold his interest in the team to another businessman.

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are in search of individuals, who are aggressive, competitive, professional, mature and self-starting and have the capability to sell the group and season tickets via telemarketing. They are really looking for people with good phone skills, selling ability and excitement for baseball.

It is known to only few people, that the origination of Quakes go back to the start of the 1993 season here in Rancho Cucamonga, the franchise traces its roots back to 1966 and Lodi, California, and had made successive stops in Ventura and San Bernardino before landing at The Epicenter.

As it is known that Lodi came into the California League after the 1965 California League season, when the team operating in Salinas folded, leaving only five teams remaining in the league.

The franchise of Quakes longest stretch was in Lodi, where in the 2,000 seat Lawrence Park (now known as Tony Zupo Field) they played from 1966 through 1984. In 1970 and 1971, the team's General Manager was Mike Port, who currently serves as the Vice President of Umpiring for Major League Baseball.

There were a number of owners during the teams' existence in Lodi. They were the people, who had the intention of collaborating to purchase the team, just o sell it a few years later to another group.

The team had over five different affiliations; Chicago Cubs (1966-68), Oakland A's (1969), San Diego Padres (1970-71), Baltimore Orioles (1972-75), Los Angeles Dodgers (1976-83), and the Cubs again, in 1984.

It was also known by different nick names during the span of its 19 seasons in Lodi, like Crushers, Padres, Orions, Lions, Orioles, and Dodgers. Lodi was the only team in the Quakes' franchise lineage.
