Born in 1983 in the United States, "Travis Pastrana" is a well-known name in the sports world. He is a celebrated stunt performer especially a motorsports challenger. He has always ridden and completed his races on Suzuki motorcycles. All of his vehicles including motorcycles and rally cars carry the famous number '199'. He currently runs the Nitro Circus, starring himself along with Andy Bell, Jim DeChamp, Tommy Passemante, Jolene Van Vugt, Greg Powell and Erik Roner. He collaborated with "Michael Waltrip", the owner of NASCAR team, to form "Pastrana-Waltrip Racing". He has won many championships and gold medals in several events including two Motocross-Racing Championships, ten gold medals at "X Games" and four "Rally America Drivers" Championships.

Nitro Circus took a form of an episodic reality television and officially came into existence in February 2009, airing on the MTV Network. The second season premiered during August 2009. Both seasons have twenty-one episodes. The seasons were highly appreciated by the fans all over the world. Following this, a tour was organized, which followed Travis and his crew around the world to capture their stunts and broadcast them live to the world. Nitro Circus is a second show on MTV2 that covers the Nitro Circus tour around Australia and New Zealand. In August 2012, "Nitro Circus The Movie 3D" was released in the United States. Starring cast included Tommy Passemante (Construction Worker), Jolene Van Vugt (Pro Motocross Racer), Andy Bell (Washed-up Motorcycle Rider), Greg Powell, Travis Pastrana (Pro Action Sports Athlete), Jim DeChamp (Pro Mountain Biker) and Erik Roner (Pro Skier/Base Jumper).
