Nevada Wolf Pack Tickets

The Nevada Wolf Pack is the athletics program of the University of Nevada, Reno. This program is a member of the Mountain West Conference within the NCAA Division I and is led by athletics director Cary Groth. It is home to sixteen varsity teams of which the football teams play at the Mackay Stadium, the basketball teams at the Lawlor Events Center arena and the baseball teams at the Williams Peccole Park stadium. The Nevada Wolf Pack's official colors are silver and navy blue. Members of the Mountain West Conference, their football teams play in the NCAA Division I FBS, Football Bowl Subdivision championship. The teams from the program were formerly known as the "Sagebrushers" until 1923, named after the state flower of Nevada. The teams have dominated many a sport. The men's baseball team has appeared four times in the NCAA Regionals; first in 1994, then three years later in 1997, in 1999 and in 2000. They have won five NCAA National Championship games and have been ranked amongst the top twenty teams in the nation.

The Wolf Pack's basketball team has been active since 1913. It has won a record nineteen Conference championships as well as appeared six times in the NCAA National Tournament. Their present coach is Dave Carter, who has led the team to many a wins. In 2004, the team made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA National tournament and in 2005, appeared again at the tournament, this time fighting against the Illinois Fighting Illni who would go on to be the runner ups of the championship. In 2007, they were ranked ninth in the country in men's basketball, with many of their players drafted into the NBA 

The football team is led by a coach who has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, one of only two active coaches to receive the honor. Football program has appeared in the bowl games many times, including four times consecutively. In 2010, they celebrated their five hundredth win in football by defeating New Mexico State.

The rifle shooting team was ranked second in the NCAA national Rifle Team championship in the year 2004. They have appeared in consecutive NCAA Championships from 2009 onwards. The women's soccer team has won the Conference tournament title and appeared in the national NCAA Tournament. The women's softball team has appeared in the NCAA Tournament three times and has won a number of Conference titles as well.
