Charlotte Eagles is a soccer club based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Eagles are part of the USL Professional Division and play in the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. The players of the team are nicknamed The Eagles and they play their home games at the Dickson Field in the Queens University in Charlotte. The team is owned by Pat Stewart while the head coach is Mark Steffens.

 

In 2013, Charlotte Eagles reached the playoff finals and finished 5th in the regular season. Some notable former players that have played for this team include Terry Boss, Joe Connor, Scott Cook, Brady Bryant, Patrick Daka and Ben Johnson. The current roster includes names like Fred Sekyere from Ghana, Ben Newman, Juan Guzman, Wells Thompson and Drew Yates from the US, Gui Brandao from Brazil and Jorge Herrera and Mario Gomez from Colombia.
