Previously called the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, the Ducks’ home arena is an indoor facility that was constructed as playing grounds for the team. Opened for the public in 1993, the venue was formerly owned by Arrowhead Water who purchased the naming rights for fifteen million dollars. In 2006, Honda procured this facility paying an astounding amount of sixty million dollars for its naming rights. Ever since its inauguration, the Honda Center has hosted many hockey games, basketball tournaments and monumental concerts.
