Dee Dee Myers was the first female and the second youngest person as the White House Press Secretary. She was in the position from 1993 to 1994. After leaving the position, Dee Dee co-hosted Equal Time; news program on CNBC. She also served as a consultant on The West Wing. In her book Myers argues that, "Women tend to be better communicators, better listeners, better at forming consensus".
